PatientsLikeMe recently conducted a sleep survey among 5,256 of its members, which revealed that a bad night’s sleep is the norm for people with health conditions. The study also found that of those reporting sleep problems of at least mild severity, 88% said their problems are caused by stress or anxiety. Results show that women are more affected by stress-induced sleeping problems than men. And according to respondents’ answers, these problems have a significant impact on their ability to work and on their daily functioning.
